J.D. will soon be back in Scrubs, as Zach Braff has signed his deal to appear in the upcoming revival of the medical comedy series, which ran for eight seasons (seven on NBC, one on ABC) from 2001-2009. The new season is in development at ABC.
Deadline reports a tricky part of the deal involved Braff wanting to shoot the series in Los Angeles, as opposed to Vancouver. No filming location has been set at this time as the show remains in development, but it’ll soon be time to find out who else from the original cast might return. Donald Faison feels like he’s next.
